Kingfisher Guide Service is located in Georgetown S.C. which offers complete access to 1200 acres of the protected Winyah Bay Estuary. The bay is a prime fishing site due to the confluence of the Pee Dee, Black, Waccamaw, and Sampit rivers. As the estuary with the third largest watershed on the east coast, Winyah Bay reserve resourses range from tidal and transitional marshes to oyster reefs, beaches, and inter-tidal flats. Teeming with wildlife, the marshes around Myrtle Beach offer year round fishing and tremendous opportunities to sight-fish for redfish and more.
If you fly fish, or prefer light tackle, Capt. Newman Weaver is your man.
As an experienced, ex-fishing guide(in western Wyoming/eastern Idaho) and someone who has hired guides for multiple species in Florida, Louisiana, Missouri & more.. I know the difference between a good fishing guide and a great guide that will help take your fishing and your knowledge of fishing to the next level.
I have had the pleasure of fishing with Capt. Newman on multiple occasions and each time he exceeds my expectations. He is fun to be around and will put you on the fish. All while helping you learn more about the sport, the area that you are fishing, and the species you are targeting.
He is genuine in many ways.
Odds are you will step off his boat with an expanded knowledge, improved skills and a few grip n' grin photos that will make your friends jealous of your experience.
Simply put, you can't go wrong with Kingfisher Guide Service.
